we sync the synth into our sensorium
and activate nine nonillion nanomachines
to engineer a world in which
the sky turns to an ultrablue maelstrom
spiderlaced by hot pink lightning

cybernetic silkworms weave wires
jellyfish float on the liquid air
nanites slither along neurites
like glistening robotic silverfish

and our flesh buzzes with sentience
as seething intelligence infiltrates
the musculature and mind

our embryogenesis is complete
the ecologies have gone electric
chrysalises bud like bubbles
and emit silicon butterflies
